by-bar is a Dutch lifestyle brand for modern women, offering contemporary collections of high-quality, conscious-made clothes that are designed to last.
Founded in Amsterdam in 2008 by Barbara Brenninkmeijer, by-bar started out small scale with handcrafted accessories. Over time, the idea of starting her own brand grew, one rooted in Barbara’s own values and her way of doing business. Authenticity, personal relationships and attention to detail are integral to Barbara. She has woven these characteristics into by-bar, building a female-led business that has considered its impact on the world from the very.
